Refund policy
All emails will be answered within 24-48 business hours, excluding weekends and all major U.S. holidays.
RETURNS:
We have a 30-day return policy. If 30 days have gone by since your order has been shipped, unfortunately we cannot offer a return, exchange, or store credit. Please email us with your order number to begin the return process.
We do not issue standard cash refunds for returns. Approved returns will be issued as store credit only, which can be used toward a future purchase on DearPersonCo.
We do not accept any returns or exchanges on items that have been washed, worn, or appear to have been damaged by the customer. Any defective or damaged merchandise must be reported to our customer service team before returning so we can handle the situation on a case by case basis.
We recommend all shipments sent back to our fulfillment center are done so via a traceable carrier such as USPS or DHL. We are not responsible for packages not received if sent via a non-traceable carrier*

Exchanges: To exchange your order for another product of the different color/size, please email us along with your order number. Then, a customer support representative will respond to you with further details, such as where you will return the item that you want to exchange to. Afterwards, please send our team proof of your shipment (i.e. picture of receipt with tracking number) to our return address, and let us know what color/size you'd like to exchange for. Our team will then process your exchange request ASAP after you send proof of your shipment and will send you a new tracking number for your new item.
Defects/Faults: If you receive a faulty, defective, or damaged item, please notify us immediately. All faulty or defective items will be reviewed by our customer service team and replaced free of charge if approved.
STORE CREDIT:
Approved returns will be issued in the form of store credit only. Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another payment method, or refunded back to the original form of payment.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
